Trails, Parks and Recreation Facilities

Quality park and recreation facilities are a major contributor to making communities desirable places to live and to visit, to work and to play.  Parks, greenways and open spaces are also critical to protecting and preserving the natural environment of a community.

Elan Planning, Design & Landscape Architecture has established a strong reputation for development of parks and recreational facilities that preserve or restore lands, waters, or existing park infrastructure.   Our experience includes recreational needs assessments, project financing strategies, grant investigation and applications, and facility programming and planning.  We are adept at visualizing park improvements, connecting a natural amenity to a community's business center, designing and upgrading trails, and creating both passive and active recreational facilities.

Elan's ultimate goal with each of its recreational strategies is the improvement and enhancement of the open space qualities that make each community unique, in a manner that is consistent with its citizens’ desires.
