Historical Settings

Historic structures and settings provide communities with a patina that enhances its character and value.  Elan Planning, Design & Landscape Architecture understands this and firmly believes in the importance and preservation of historic resources. When working at a site with historic sensitivity, we imagine a proposed design within the context of the site’s existing features, its sense of place within the community's vernacular, and how the proposed use will function.

Elan’s portfolio ranges from regional planning implications to site specific design considerations.  The historic significance and character that impacts the design lies at the core of each project.  Our priority with projects of this nature is the historic relevance, no matter the scope of the job.
