September 2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was awarded a Linkage Study for the Central Avenue Corridor for the City of Mechanicville. Elan is currently working with the City in developing a Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan. The Central Corridor study area lies directly adjacent to the Waterfront Revitalization boundary. The focus of the LWRP is the revitalization of the waterfront and Main Street and the connection between the two areas.
June 2008 - The Rouses Point Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on June 26, 2008 at the Montgomery Street Pier to commemorate the completion and opening of the Shoreline Walk and Pier on Lake Champlain. Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was the project's lead design consultant.
June 2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was awarded the Oswegatchie River and Cranberry Lake Access Points design commission in the Towns of Clifton and Fine, New York.

January 2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was awarded the Waterfront Revitalization Plan project for the City of Mechanicville, NY. The project is designed to capitalize on the City's many assets and build on the economic opportunities surrounding it through a community visioning process, market research, achievable physical enhancements, and realistic goals and strategies.
January 2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was awarded the Brownfield Opportunity Area Nomination and Implementation Study project for the City of Troy, New York. The project is designed to redevelop the City of Troy's South Waterfront community's Brownfield sites while building on the framework of existing infrastructure to revitalize its neighborhoods and community wards.
January 2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was awarded the Waterfront Walkway project in the town of Hague, New York. The project is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2008.
2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. has been working with Town of Bolton Landing, New York since 2006 providing consulting services to update the Town's Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Ordinance is nearing the Adoption Phase.
2007/2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. in conjunction with CSArch was awarded the Athletic Venue Improvements project for the Hoosic Valley Central School District located in the Town of Schaghticoke, New York. The project entails design and construction phase services for the School District's outdoor track and athletic field venues. The project will begin construction in the Spring of 2008.
2007/2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. in conjunction with CSArch was awarded a Site Improvements project for the Northeastern Clinton Central School District specifically for the Rouses Point Elementary School and the Middle/High School campus located in the Town of Champlain, New York. The project is scheduled to begin construction in the Spring of 2008.
2007-2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. is working with the Town of Lake Luzerne, New York for the preparation of their Waterfront Revitalization Strategy and Town Comprehensive Plan. The strategy focuses on the lands along the Hudson and Sacandaga Rivers as well as the upland areas throughout the town.
2007-2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was awarded the Mohawk River Trail Design and construction project which is a 10 mile long riverfront trail that parallels the former Erie Canal in the City of Rome, New York. The project is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2008.
2007/2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. is providing consulting services for the Towns of New Baltimore and Coxsackie on their 9W Corridor Secondary Growth Impact Study. The purpose is to prepare a Corridor Master Plan along NYS Rt. 9W from the intersection of NYS Rt. 144 and 9W in New Baltimore to the intersection of NYS Rt. 365 and 9W in the Town of Coxsackie.
2007/2008 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. is working with the Town of New Baltimore, New York providing consulting services to update the Town's Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations.
August 2007 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. is providing design services for the Saratoga Polo Retreat located in Greenfield, New York near Saratoga Springs. The proposed project consists of a lodge, conference center and polo field gardens situated on 42.74 acres.
September 2007 - Elan Planning & Design, Inc. was awarded the Waterfront Park Improvements project for the Town of Hague, New York located on Lake George. The project entails design and construction phase services for pedestrian enhancements at the Town's Lakeside park boat launch. The project is nearing completion.
