To continue meeting our clients&#8217; goals, Elan hired Zuzana Blaise for site planning support.  Zuzana will be an integral member of Elan&#8217;s site design team focusing on brownfield and waterfront revitalization, park design and community Main Street enhancement.  </p>
<p>Ms. Blaise earned her degree in horticulture and landscape engineering from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra with a minor in landscaping and landscape planning.  She has hands-on experience with horticulture, agricultural exhibitions, and garden design.  Jere Tatich, a founding Principal of Elan, said, “We are excited to have Zuzana on board; she brings her dauntless work style to our firm and our clients’ projects.”</p>
<p>Elan, located at 18 Division Street in Saratoga Springs, NY, provides comprehensive land planning and site design services throughout the global market with a focus on understanding the purpose of the project, planning the experience, and sculpting the project goals into a reality.  Elan Planning/Design/ Landscape Architecture currently has several projects on the boards including the NYS Route 50 Southern Gateway project leading into Saratoga Springs; the Town of Halfmoon Riverfront Park; a downtown revitalization plan for the Village of Hamilton; and the Town of Warrensburg Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan and Community Plan.</p>

Elan&#8217;s client list continues to expand.  To continue meeting our clients&#8217; goals, Elan hired Jaclyn Hakes as a project manager.  Jaclyn will be an integral member of Elan&#8217;s community planning team focusing on brownfield redevelopment, waterfront revitalization and corridor planning.  </p>
<p>Jaclyn is currently working on the long-term economic plan for the Brandywine Brownfield Corridor Plan.  This project entails the reuse strategy of 107 parcels of land in Binghamton, NY.  Jaclyn will also guide the Brownfield Opportunity Area Plan for the Owego brownfield nomination study and the Town of Warrensburg Comprehensive Plan and Waterfront Revitalization Strategy.   </p>
<p>Prior to joining Elan, Jaclyn was the Principal Planner for the City of Saratoga Springs, dubbed a &#8220;City in the Country.&#8221;   The City&#8217;s open space lends itself to Jaclyn&#8217;s active personal life style as an avid runner and snowshoer.</p>
<p>She earned her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning (MRP) from the State University of New York at Albany and a BA in Environmental Studies and a BA in Geography from Binghamton University where she was a teaching assistant.</p>
<p>Jaclyn is actively involved with the:<br />
• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)<br />
• NY Upstate Chapter American Planning Association<br />
• Capital District Planners Association<br />
• Saratoga P.L.A.N. (Preserving Land and Nature)<br />
• University of Albany Dept. of Geography Community Advisory Board Member</p>
