Ms. Blaise earned her degree in horticulture and landscape engineering from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra with a minor in landscaping and landscape planning. She has hands-on experience with horticulture, agricultural exhibitions, and garden design. Elan Planning/Design/ Landscape Architecture currently has several projects on the boards including the NYS Route 50 Southern Gateway project leading into Saratoga Springs; the Town of Halfmoon Riverfront Park; a downtown revitalization plan for the Village of Hamilton; and the Town of Warrensburg Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan and Community Plan.

Jaclyn is currently working on the long-term economic plan for the Brandywine Brownfield Corridor Plan. This project entails the reuse strategy of 107 parcels of land in Binghamton, NY. Jaclyn will also guide the Brownfield Opportunity Area Plan for the Owego brownfield nomination study and the Town of Warrensburg Comprehensive Plan and Waterfront Revitalization Strategy.

Prior to joining Elan, Jaclyn was the Principal Planner for the City of Saratoga Springs, dubbed a “City in the Country.” The City’s open space lends itself to Jaclyn’s active personal life style as an avid runner and snowshoer.

She earned her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning (MRP) from the State University of New York at Albany and a BA in Environmental Studies and a BA in Geography from Binghamton University where she was a teaching assistant.
